Balaknamais proudly recognized as the world’s first newspaper created by and for street and working children — a pioneering platform where children report, write, and express their own stories and perspectives.
All Balaknama team members are actively encouraged to pursue formal education. To support this, each member receives a monthly stipend, helping them balance both learning and leadership.
Every month, 5,000 copies in Hindi and 3,000 copies in English are printed and distributed.
